Essential Oils Blends for Anxiety and Stress Relief

Stress and anxiety can feel so overwhelming, especially if you aren’t prepared with your calm down essentials. Whether you find therapy, medication, self-care, essential oils, quiet time, or more to be helpful - it’s a great idea to know what your go-tos are at any moment. My go-to for the calm down is usually rooted in essential oils…mostly just because that resonates with me the most. In fact, I have a diffuser going right now on my desk with a lovely scent filling the air as I work. Smell can be associated with good things, which I tend to find is helpful for me.

I have various diffusers around the house, and even one in the car, so I’m always ready to toss a few drops in! If diffusers aren’t your style, roller applicators work great, too. They’re actually much easier to keep on hand while you’re out if you find that’s when you experience the most overwhelm. Roll some of your wrist, take a sniff, and see if it is helpful.

Here are some of my favorite blends. Feel free to adjust the number of drops in each blend to fit your diffuser and your personal preferences to achieve the best results.

And as always, I’m not a doctor and this is by no means a cure-all - rather, just my own personal strategy!
