Recipe: Carrot Cake Smoothie
A beautiful spring smoothie for you to try! I love the refreshing orange color of this and the....different?....taste. I'm so used to the same old smoothies, I was happy for a break with this one!Yields: 2 cupsServes: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped carrots (about 2)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 medjool date
- 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/4 Tsp vanilla
- 1/4 Tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of ginger
- Pinch of nutmeg
- *optional - add 1/2 cup unsweetened dairy-free yogurt for an even creamier consistency
