Recipe: Carrot Cake Smoothie

A beautiful spring smoothie for you to try! I love the refreshing orange color of this and the....different?....taste. I'm so used to the same old smoothies, I was happy for a break with this one!Yields: 2 cupsServes: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped carrots (about 2)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 Tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 Tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of ginger
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • *optional - add 1/2 cup unsweetened dairy-free yogurt for an even creamier consistency
