If you’re here, I’m guessing that you are interested in exploring what it means to be a Health Coach and how you can actually make it a part of your life. As someone who was thinking the same thing 8 years ago – and actually made it work! – I am happy you are here!
Maybe you want a flexible career so you can have more time at home. Maybe you want a side hustle that you are passionate about. Maybe you just want the education to better your own health. All of these are great reasons to explore a Health Coaching certification program.
When I learned about Health Coaching – it was pretty new. I had stumbled upon some blog posts for gluten-free recipes and the woman who wrote them said she was a Health Coach. A what? I was intrigued, after spending the last couple of years trying to figure out my own wellbeing struggles. I found out where she went to school – The Institute for Integrative Nutrition – and started the program within the month while I made a move from working at Food Network in NYC, back to Philadelphia. Since getting my certification, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients in 1-1 and group programs, created and sold a national wellness festival for thousands called The GOOD Fest, written e-books, worked as a wellness strategist to other coaches, taught an online vegan cooking school, and now am training to be a doula.
NOW is the time to launch into this field – it’s rapidly expanding and is so moldable to SO many different paths, careers, and places to apply this work. It’s great to earn a living doing something you love. Health Coaches are the future of healthcare.
That said – there’s a lot to think about when you are thinking about starting a new career, even part time. As a Health Coach for the last 7 years, I have seen it all and want to help you!
There are two things I want to offer you while you are here:
Getting the Education
Support / Business Coaching
