With baby number 4 on my hip, we’re excited (and anxious lol) to take on another holiday season! Breastfeeding during the holidays isn’t anything new for me, so I’ve been able to pick up a few tips and tricks along the way. Here’s what helps me…
Button downs and v-neck sweaters? Give me all of them. In general, the looser the better – because then I can have access from the top or the bottom.
Planning ahead is always best. Whether you plan on breastfeeding or pumping, having everything you need stocked ahead of time will help the day go smoothly.
Do whatever makes you comfortable. Wherever you decide to breastfeed, as long as you’re comfortable and baby is comfortable, nothing else matters! Advocate for yourself.
Pack an extra shirt or chunky sweater, just in case of a spit up accident.
Whether you’re looking for a super casual & comfy look to hang out in or a fun, chic holiday party look, check out these six breastfeeding-friendly outfits below!
For a fashionable mama, this holiday look ties in a classy feel with a breastfeeding-friendly button-down top. Finish off the look with a matching hair clip and enjoy the holiday party!
A comfy-classy look is my favorite style for the holidays. A v-neck sweater is great for breastfeeding, and tie-front pants means that I don’t have to fit in to my clothes that still don’t…fit me. lol.
A chunky boot & a pair of jeans are always in style – plus they make holiday fashion so much easier. I’ve been loving these lug boots that are super popular now! Pair them with a v-neck top for easy breastfeeding and a cute baby bag before you run out to your next holiday event.
For more of a casual look, go for a quarter-button down sweater, jeans, and my fav sneakers (if you know, you know – YES they are worth it). If you have a long day running around the house to house for holiday parties, this is the perfect style!
A white button-down is a closet staple. Toss on a cute shacket and a belt for a casual holiday look that you can’t go wrong with!
Lazy mom hack: wear a jumpsuit so you only have to pick out one piece instead of two. A cute cardigan and close-toed sandals finish off the look.
If you’re a breastfeeding mama, don’t let the holiday season stress you out. Wear whatever makes you comfortable and works the best for you both! Remember to take a breath focus on the good! 🙂
