Water and lemons on their own have tons of health benefits like hydrating the body and boosting the immune system – but the specific benefit of the hot lemon water is elimination.
Obviously, this is not very difficult to prepare. Just warm up a mug of filtered water and squeeze in half of a lemon. Make sure you can hold the mug in your hands before you add the lemon – if the water is too warm, you’ll kill all the good stuff the lemon has to offer. For additional cleansing – you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar.
