Postpartum Tea Blends

Postpartum teas…yes, no, maybe? Let’s get into it!

Postpartum tea blends can get expensive and I find that more often than not, they focus more on the nursing aspect of postpartum. But let’s be honest - we need the nourishment too!

So I started looking into this for a doula client and have decided the best thing to do is buy herbs in bulk and make your own blend! It’s much less expensive and not terribly hard or inconvenient. It’s definitely doable, but I recommend getting everything ready before your due date so you are not juggling this with a newborn.

The following herbs are meant to create “nourishing mother” tea blends. I would mix these together into a larger mason jar and then create single cups as I go, or infuse a larger amount for a longer period of time to extract more benefits and keep it cold until ready to enjoy.
